Alongside my architectural training, I have sought opportunities to contribute and lead; gaining recognition for built work, representing my college nationally, driving innovation in lettings, and winning funding through a competitive accelerator.
Selected as one of 10 winners out of 400 applicants in the SuperTeam UK x HelpBnk accelerator, securing part of £100k funding and six weeks of mentorship.
In the same year that I first contributed to the agency, we proudly celebrated our 10th anniversary by winning the Best Student Letting Agency Award at the YM Business Awards; the first time the agency had received this recognition in a decade.
While studying, I worked part-time as a Lettings Manager and Negotiator, taking initiative to streamline compliance and digitise operations; leading to my promotion as Business Development Lead on the agency’s 10th anniversary.
Throughout my five-year bachelor’s degree, I was an active member of the university team, helping host the country’s largest architectural event (NASA). Each year, I represented the college in competitions; winning multiple awards and trophies across architecture, design, and fashion categories every year.
A cabin project I contributed to was showcased to an audience of 1,000+ attendees, gaining public recognition as one of the practice’s best works. The material produced for the project continues to be used in promoting the firm to this day.
